i have a passion for graphic design.

it all started with my full-fledged love affair with fonts. i adore pairing two Types, toying with them and deciding if they are indeed the same type. mingling typography gives me a thrill; as if i were playing the part of a matchmaker in the pages of a Jane Austen.

i dabbled in the arts–oil painting, art history, letterpress, bookbinding and charcoal drawing–throughout my years in college at the university of utah. however when i enrolled in a course covering Photoshop, it was love at first layer. since that point, i've worked as a graphic designer at a california printshop and i've been apart of a website development team in salt lake city. now that we've moved to idaho, i've branched off in a new direction. freelancing. while graphic design was once my day job–with my little one's arrival–it is now my night job. thanks to the wonders of the internet, i can achieve my goals of designing by working within a corner of my own home. i am always happy to provide freelance designs for clients spread across the globe.

the 411. for custom designs, i charge an hourly rate rather than a set fee. this gives me the freedom to collaborate closely with you via email and revise the designs to suit your fancy. once finalized, you will receive the photoshop and jpeg. files to utilize your design freely. any printed materials or artwork archival CDs are an additional cost.

i specialize in logo design, identity + branding, business cards, wedding suites, book layout, party invitations + menus, baby announcements, and custom creations to suit any event.
